中文怎麼說 "souvenirs? How to say "souvenirs" in Mandarin?
🇹🇼 Two common ways --
🎁 紀念品 ( jì niàn pǐn)
🎁 伴手禮 ( bàn shǒu lǐ)
💬 There is a slight difference:
紀念品 can also be for oneself as a personal souvenir,
伴手禮 would typically be purchased as a gift for others during trips."
Please noet that : 伴手禮 originating from Japanese as "omiyage" (お土産),
Taiwanese people now commonly use this term in spoken Mandarin to refer to souvenirs from trips.
Actually, the truth is we even use the Japanese term directly as in "omiyage".
💬 For example:
A: 你看我從臺灣帶回來的紀念品!
Nǐ kàn wǒ cóng Táiwān dài huí lái de jìniàn pǐn!
B: 哇 好多 omiyage!
wa hǎo duō omiyage!
我每次都買很多可愛的襪子當紀念品 (哈哈) ,
我也買很多送我朋友
wǒ měi cì dōu mǎi hěn duō kě'ài de wàzi dāng jìniàn pǐn (hāhā),
wǒ yě mǎi hěn duō sòng wǒ péngyǒu
💬 You might ask - What about
土產 ( tǔ chǎn) or 特產 (tè chǎn)❓
Two other words that you might see from textbook are -- 土產 (ㄊㄨˇ ㄔㄢˇ tǔ chǎn) or 特產 (ㄊㄜˋ ㄔㄢˇtè chǎn) ,
They can be translated as "local products" or "souvenirs." Which is more commonly
used for local market products sold in touristy spots.
I have a feeling that we use it LESS frequently in spoken language."
